Hi Drew and Mason 😄, excellent review 👌. I can totally see the S4 being your new daily driver Drew, the magma color leather seats is truly everything. I loved the shot of the key fob, premium looking and feeling. Looks like you both are having a great summer so far. Drives on the back country roads are always fun in your reviews especially in an S4 😁. Mason, I totally noticed you looking out the passenger side rear view mirror, don't want no speeding ticket.

I own a B8.5 S4 and prefer it over the new B9. The new ones are really bland on the exterior and it’s even harder to tell it from an A4. Not a fan of the revised rotor wheels and the interior is meh. Audi went soft on this S4. Also, the black optic package has always been available. I heard you say “this year it’s available” but it’s been available since 2010. Just a heads-up. I’m also in KY, Owensboro — about two hours from Lexington. I also have black with the black optic package. Good video!

Does the S4 still understeer like a champ around tight corners? IE does it feel to the shotgun passenger they will be killed in dramatic fashion?

I think I’d go for the c43 amg. This is nice but I’ve been in one for 3 days and it didn’t feel like it was worth the price. This should be like 10-15 grand cheaper.

I dont think it's an M340i killer because Audi S models dont compete with BMW M models.

It's Audi's RS models that compete. Unfortunately they dont really send RS models here in the US, I think the closest comparison would be BMW M340i vs. Audi RS5.

Maybe not necessarily an M340i killer… I believe Audi is in a league all on their own! Unique styling and design language. Always have had a sweet spot in my heart for Audi 🙂 in the area I live, I don't see very many Audi vehicles on the road considering we do have a brand new Audi dealership here now.

I don't understand why the interior looks exactly like the A4. There should be alcantara on the doors and more aggressive stitching? That's how its been in other previous S4's…..

I don't understand why Audi makes you revert to the A4 seats and steering wheel if you want ventilated seats and a heated wheel. Seems lazy to me.
