You can’t discuss the ABCs of performance driving without AMG. The Mercedes AMG C 43 4MATIC is the kind of car drivers wake up early for to get curvy …August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73351Melvin Ray Spence III
so Benz do not name the cars after the engine anymore? It use to be the 43 mean 4.3 liter engine looks like not any moreAugust 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73352tflyer98
Great and thorough car review as always. I like the way the Sedan looks better than the Coupe. Would love to see a comparison review between the C63 AMG and the GLC 63 AMG.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73353mezimeen
And in Canada we have the wagon! 😍August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73354Christian Spivey

Did Tom just call the trunk a boot!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73357V White
I own a 2017 C300 Coupe. Absolutely gorgeous, one of the most beautiful cars on the road. Love the exterior and interior. But I wouldn't buy another COMAND system Mercedes. With an MBUX system, I'd consider it (maybe).August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73358Farid Alghali
Thank you Tom!😊
Another great video review.👍
The antics at the end were an added bonus!😜
Good job!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73359venom5809
You could always close the trunks on powered trunks of Mercedes, at least the S-Classes as far back as 2001. I remember way back when I had my first S-Class I opened the powered trunk with the switch inside for someone outside and wondered if it would close it, if I pushed the rocker the other direction and it did, always a cool party trick.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73360Donald Shelton
You are greatAugust 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73361Jeff Sawyer
I imagine the non amg rides better but is a second or two slower to 60?August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73362Ramzi Khazen
Keep up the good work Tom.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73363teddy field
Thanks guys! Your passion definitely shines through!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73364George G.
Tom, I am a huge fan, but I'm a little disappointed that most of the car reviews you've done for the last several months are mostly luxury and/or hybrid. I'd certainly enjoy seeing you do more mainstream vehicles as part of the mix. Thanks.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73365J024
Not a fan of the car, great video though!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73366buickboy92
C student? Tom, You're A+ to me! Appreciate the work you and your crew put in. 👍August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73367barry weber
Great video and great review…New SUB here!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73368David Wolf
All of your efforts do NOT go unappreciated, Tom and crew! The AMG series in any Mercedes would, just for myself, be an occasional use vehicle (i.e. weekender). For my daily driving, I prefer a vehicle that is quiet and compliant with the various road surfaces and tire options. I really love the interior of this particular AMG!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73369Miguel Ircontar
Congrats Tom your at 101k subscribers you’ll be at 201k by next year watch and see !!!
And the seat plastic thingy that pops out looks so cheap and plasticAugust 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73370PD Lynch
I always watch your videos more than once, there is so much packed in to one video. The photography alone takes a few passes to fully appreciate! Thank you to the Driven team, you guys rock!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73371donteadoss
$75k? 🥴 — Great video as always, Tom! Thank you!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73372mikealanzo
Oh look!!!!!! a fake AMG!!!! Wooooohoooooo….. A big F you MB for milking the shit out of the AMG brand!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73373101 Mentor
Thanks for the review! I have the 2018 c43 and love it 👍 as for subs, totally hear you on that. I have a career mentoring channel for recent grads and adults looking for a change and there are always production issues behind the scenes and my videos are no where as complicated as yours! Love your videos – it’s got that old school vibe with a very modern touch. Great balance!August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73374David Stoler
Amazing drone shot over the corn at 3:43! How many takes did that take, lolz.
Also: I know the chances are nil, but what about lifting off these horrible plastic engine covers and showing us the real guts? Can't stand those things.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73375Stephen Moody
A performance variant that's a viable daily driver (four comfortable seats, etc.) is my sweet spot (I like the size much better than the E, or Tesla S) and I have thought this coupe or the C43 Sedan might have been just the one. Unfortunately I livie in an apartment so can't charge my electric at home.I drive a performance variant BMW 3 series from the good old days (2004) which I'm looking to replace with something roomier than my Porsche C4S. Would have wanted to know how this sweet car would have been as a daily driver: visibility? too firm a suspension? sounds like the sport exhaust is unnecessary but good that it is optional; is it as quiet as a C without the sport exhaust? P.S. Love Tom Voelk's reviews. The most sober and in a class with only one other great journalist, Dan Neil.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73376blitzbbffl
I noticed that Tom's nose seemed grow after he informed us that he pulled C grades in HS! 😉August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73377Scott
Also available as a wagon here in Canada… sorry USA 🙂August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73378headcas620
The 43s are not real amg cars.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73379Skøut
I would easily fit 5 packs of softness in the back.
Hmm… That came out wrong :/August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73380Peter Francis
Thank you Tom, Rob and Martin for your appreciated efforts.
I have been watching and been a sub for a long time but don't normally comment.
Thanks again for your efforts.August 28, 2019 at 8:31 am #73381EDWIN QUIOTO
