I wish they will fix the floaty asphalt tire model, apparently the devs knew about this and made an active choice to have it. The reason being that a proper asphalt tire model would make the AI act up in a weird and unpredictable manner, which is understandable due to the complexity of the variable tire grip during elevation changes etc. Anyhow, I'd rather see them fix this so you can enjoy all types of surfaces that rally racing offers. It is a major flaw that keeps this rally game from being the ultimate rally sim!
