I see people bringing their rotors looking like that into the auto parts store that I work at. That is ridiculous! People that drive a car like that should have their driver license taken away. Not only are they putting themselves in danger but also the other people on the road & the passengers in their cars. There is no excuse for people to drive their car until the rotor gets to looking like that.

This happens so often it's scary. I had an Isuzu Trooper come in with one pad worn to metal that came out of the bracket and partially locked up the wheel. It still drove in. Instead of pads, rotor & hardware it also gets a new caliper and sometimes a bearing. Pay me now or pay me (more) later.
