    Man would not it be Cool to have one of these engines in like a 1950 Chevy pickup with the factory 4-speed and low geared 3/4 ton rear end ..What a torque monster that would be..It is sad to know that there are still engines like these rotting away in some old junkyard

    Frank Kurtis built many hundred Offenhauser powered midgets and quarter-midgets. His company was called Kurtis Kraft and started in the 1930s, I believe. I thought his sports cars were Ford powered. That is an interesting looking one. Will be looking forward to seeing more about it. Thanks for letting us take a look!
