Short Truck + Tall Eric = Extra Extra Funny Video. That was a ton of work and the truck looks great. Really enjoyed the video.

Hey Eric I got a 03 f150 xl and the front end is sagging to my knowledge I donโ€™t think the front suspension has even been serviced with that said Iโ€™ve also noticed some squeaking and creaking so that automatically means ball joints and I get a clacking like things metal to metal are making contact at points yet unknown so in a round about approximation what all do you think is gone just about everything on the front ?

I have a very similar bearing packer. I love it. I think it's a lot better than the old way of grabbing a wad of grease in your palm. I like that it ensures you have a fully packed bearing.
Looks great. Now I need to rebuild my front suspension too.
Dude, you are going to be blown away by the new engine. I can tell that old tbi 350 is a turd. I'm so glad I upgraded mine with a roller cam and heads.

    Awesome brother. Love these videos!

Hah! My favorite thing when someone told me "It's a Chevy, they're all the same" was to hand them a water pump for a Corvette for their 350. You still have to do your math, even with a Chevy.

I can't remember if the ABS unit is still in the truck. Yes? If so, I'd attribute the great pedal feel to that. If it's still there what do you think is the cause for the spongy pedal? It comes and goes on my '99 Suburban.

Whether I modified them or not, Summit WOULD take those Spindles back or just eat the cost of the new ones if I were dealing with them…

Doing something wrong a few times is just part of the process of fixing something. It's frustrating, but the end result of a high-effort job is very satisfying. Nice work, Eric!

Nice work Eric! I put Bilsteins on my E150 4.6L. The van handles AMAZINGLY.

Eric your inner tie rods are on the wrong way. The nuts should be on the forward side of the centerlink. Watch PART 1 and you'll see. You may need to turn the centerlink around too so the taper for the inner tie rod studs will be correct.

I find it interesting that you had to grind on these spindles when I did the same exact thing on my 91 they popped right in with no clearance issues. Sorry I don't remember what brand they were unfortunately ๐Ÿ™

I was going to say something nostalgic like "your videos have gotten better with age" but the heck with that! These latest ones have gone exponential! Dunno if it's the cold or the cold medicine but it's taken these to a whole new level. Great stuff and it's great to know you are human with a mistake or two… lol

I find myself 75% of the time having to do the same thing with brake pads itโ€™s like the coating adds too much extra thickness and they donโ€™t find nicely

I think the springs on the right side of truck are slightly longer than on the left to help compensate for road crown….Ride more level
