Not all cars water pump replacement is that simple, in many cars, water pump is behind the timing belt and replacing that is quite challenging, if the engine is interference engine. It took me 10 hours replacing my car's water pump and timing belt.

I learn from experience that when you replacing a water pump or any major part in your vehicle go with OEM. I can't tell you how many headaches I've had with using AutoZone, O'Reilly's Etc it's just better to go oem. Pay the extra money and avoid doing the job twice.

I might have mentioned something about it being substantially more involved on engines where the pump is driven by the timing belt – just because it's very common.
