Scotty, I own a 2002 chevy 1500 and have reached 400k. The truck is still driving amazing but it's time to get a newer truck. Which year Silverado should I purchase for $10 to $15k.

Car manufacturers use temp workers every day, even before our current situation.

They fired people with mortgages, families, because that's the excuse to keep low cost

Hey Scotty I got a 2018 f-150 with a 5.0 V8 and 10 speed transmission. I plan to keep this vehicle until the wheels fall off. Is this foolish ? I change the oil every 8000 kms .

I agree I wouldn't hire a contractor that watched a you tube video to build a house ( waste of money) and it's sad to know people trust the manufacturer to fix a defect properly

Just to clarify what Scottie said… He’s referring to new cars. However, it actually is a good time to buy a used car. With the current level of unemployment and the economy in the toilet, car dealers and individuals are desperate to sell cars. It’s a buyer’s market. In May, I bought my son a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 with 7k miles for $24k cash from the dealership. We found it and test drove it at the end of March. Then I watched their price online continuously drop from $29,900. Once it reached $24k, I decided to go ahead and get it before someone else bought it, because my son really liked it.

But when buying a new car, now and in the near future, check the manufacture date. Avoid cars built during the outbreak when temp, unskilled labor could possibly have built the car. These cars will be floating around for years. So watch out for used cars built during this time as well.
