I have a 2008 Toyota prius that needs a brake actuator. I have taken it to toyota & 4 different repair places trying to get the best deal with my limited income & to much different input from online & friends. I was told I can get mine rebuilt for a lot cheaper but do they last? & will it effect the large battery because how it recharges when the brakes are applied? & several people say ok to drive, others no. I am thoroughly at a loss of who is giving me correct info. or what to do.
