We’re almost done! Davin gets the engine fully assembled before moving it onto our test stand to fire it up for the first time. Will it run? I guess you’ll just have to …

Check out the Redline Rebuild time-lapse video of our engine here:

    Victor Masson

I almost thought that this was an BA's video

    Right Meow!

Looks like corvette manifold on one side and log on the other? Is that normal? I assume both would look like header/manifold.

Cliff Hangerrrrrrrrrr! Geez!! Dig these vids man. Love your style and what you're doing. Thanks for teaching us all something too. I am putting the top end back together on my Sportster and that paint trick looks perfect for what I need. Thanks again.

    Ash qelon

    I'de Love to see this 396 compete w a Pontiac Firebird 400 TA w a #722 cyl head engine.
    Only 4 CI delta.

    Damn, we got Davin Roll!!

But.. But where is the Buick Nailhead? 😢

As for the bolts.. Just heat them up with a blowtorch (to just before they turn cherry) then dunk them in used engine oil.. What's with all the fancy stuff? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Ricky Nunnery

why are yall dragging it out like this?

    Formula Firebird

What was the Intake solution? was there a miss match? new intake?

    Paul Archer

Would you do a how-to on rebuilding an engine? I am going to be rebuilding one soon and I would like to have a somewhat idea of what I am doing.

    Bob Renner

Back in the mid-1950s through early 1960s I rebuilt and hopped up several engines and thought I knew at least a little about the process – also ran at the old Santa Anna, CA strip. After watching this series I realize that I know NOTHING anymore. Keep up the good work.

    Leland Harper

    You sly dog you…..

    Bryan Hinds

    man! you suck! 😂😂😂😂

man you skip a lot of "boring" stuff that we want to see

    Lateef Carrere

Boo! I mean…I can't wait for the next installment!

Using the induction gun a terrible idea. If you get it over 500 F for any length of time you're going change the heat treat. Your "poker red" is at least 700 F.

That is not very nice! 😀

    Chris Mckeehan

    I wish I forgot I bought a $400 tool

    Tony Williams

maybe in the future we can them assemble a engine…
