Upgrade the oil pickup tube if it isn't already!!!!! Its the reason why all subaru's have rebuilt motors. How this isn't common knowledge baffles me. The neck at the flange cracks, starts sucking in air into the oiling system, then the motor go's kaboom a few thousand miles later. If they reused the oil pickup tube in the rebuild and thats what caused the issue(which it prob did), then its a time bomb. Built or not.
