You think that 12 seconds is fast on a dragstrip ? Wait until you see 30 cars going 5/8 mile in 12 seconds and turning around and coming back 6 inches away from each other. That gets exciting!

    #119734
    Sam

You should name something at the track after him. Like Gene Corner, or Tharpe Concession or something like that.

    #119735
    John Shields Jr.

You need to use the shape of the track in the logo somehow.

    #119736
    Ptao Tom

I like how cleetus is trying to make it an emotional/historical moment for the guy. "when was the last time you walked the track out here" – Dude answers "couple years ago" L

    #119737
    KiGrind

Should have taken him for a rip around it.

    #119738
    Dennis Knight

At what point can we afford a decent camera/mic so we don't hear all the wind?

    #119739
    Kip

These historic videos need to be twice as long

    #119740
    Timothy Thayer

It would be so cool to see him be a regular at the Freedom Factory.

    #119741
    Jeffrey Reynolds

Cleetus – Gene and all those things he bought about the original construction are priceless. Try and keep those original drawings in as good a condition as you can. I saw a London Hospital display the original drawings of each floor opposite the lifts on each floor after modernisation – the effect was amazing and had far more impact than youโ€™d think.

Tbh I just canโ€™t sit through your videos any more sine you bought the track. Actually started boring since the building of the drift cars. The leaf blower one had 3 sets of commercials to see s leaf blower.

I would certianly look into surge protection, lowering the fuse box to the bottom and a large grounding ring, for lightning protection less fuses, less need for bucket truck, and all around better electrical system. Ground the whole system, will also lessen electrical fires as well.

    #119745
    Tom Joslin

WIND SCREEN on the mic ๐Ÿ™„

    #119746
    Richard Wolfe

Remember gypsum is full of asbestos

    #119747
    Jay Swisher

He needs to drive one of Cleetusโ€™ car on that track
