I've dropped a car off a hoist while I was under it, fell a whole 1" onto the four poster with all its wheels in place. You never forget that lesson when taught, ever. Slipped off the bridge jack because of oil all over the subframe, rubber feet and all. Zero damage to anything besides my underwear, statutory writeoff.

Honestly you should probably just keep the tires since you'll probably need to buy some anyhow and sell the rims, you should also use double sided tape to hold the cluster hood down too.
