Can someone answer, are these cars reliable? Like can I drive for 1-2 hour once or twice weekly with no problem?

Never knew the Linear didn't have rear vents. My Aero has rear vents, and my 9-5 Linear has rear vents.

    ALSO FLUSH THAT DEXKILL OUT

Looks like an aftermarket MAF you swapped out. I've used multiple MAF sensors on my 06 arc and 05 linear without problem. OEM is the only way with electronics on these cars.

I am pretty sure MAF on all B207* engines(and other brands equivalents) are the same – 12788131 for SAAB.

Sometimes with after market cigarette lighters they are a bit over size so they push in and operate but don't pop out and just sit there frying.

The lighter works just fine. When she put it in she pressed it all the way. Maybe the spring that pops it out when it gets hot is a little to strong.

Thatโ€™s how a cigarette lighter works. Itโ€™s supposed to pop out (not all the way) when itโ€™s hot and ready to light a cigarette

Damn I grew up with one of these Linears. Feels weird seeing the interior without my Nav unit and wood panel in the middle. Almost got it before my Dad ruined the engine. I would suggest trying to clean off the plasti-dipped wheels if you can because the Linear wheels are arguably the best looking ones for the 9-3 (theyโ€™re at least better than the ones that come in the Arc). Either way great video as always

Just letting you know that you dont need tech2 for your ecu issue … Just a good ecu, a laptop and an obdlink sx cable (its cheap) , and you can clone your existing ecu very easily … you can find a very good and easy guide to follow in the trionictuning forum ๐Ÿ™‚ But i can help you aswell , as i've done it way too many times ๐Ÿ™‚

I think when she put it in, she put it in all the way so it must have activated the button thingy…that is my guess lol

    Jimo

It's a lighter. Those were lighters before there were power ports. That's how they work. Push them in, they heat up, then pop out to tell you "HEY!!! I'm ready to light something". You pushed it in. No crisis.

    #116160
    Lance Friended

That's what a cigarette lighter does. It gets really hot so you can light cigarettes. You pushed it in so it turned on and it takes a second to get hot before popping out.

If she doesn't mind me asking how much did she pay for her 93 and quiet question is this a good saab as far as mechanical issues. Thanks
