Towing with Leroy. You really are going to get tired of that open-air driving experience after 20 hours. I guess it wonโ€™t be too bad if you wear your helmet.

    Joe Anderson

I live in Colorado. If you guys breakdown while going from track to track, contact me and I'll gladly come by and try to fix ya up.

Idk if youโ€™re still trying to find a track hawk. But I found one with less than 1,900 miles for $75k

    BUY: Dodge Demon

I Would love to see what you guys could do with that bad boy

My golden retriever goes crazy too.

Thin air helps you with bad aerodynamics, and you can tune for altitude with all your boost

I was going to tell you that that trailer weighed at least 7-800 lbs, but I was wrong. Ish. U-Haul pegs it at 850 lbs with a max load of 1,650 load within it.

Your aerodynamics on Leroy may actually IMPROVE with the trailer. Leroy's worse than a barn door, and the wake is probably horrendous. The trailer may smooth out that wake, which would lessen the mpg loss.

But hauling a ton with a trailer that is taller than the vehicle, you're going to lose no matter what – when I towed a U-Haul 5×10 cross-country with my Talon, I got 8-12mpg over the 2500 miles. Of course I was often going "a bit" over the PSL. I had it packed, but not with very heavy stuff. Barely felt it though, even up mountains, and I was only running about 350hp. Turbos rock for high altitude.

You might want to talk to the guys running the race to see if they'll upgrade the trailer specs to 5×10 for next year. That allows a dual axle U-Haul, which is more stable, and you are MUCH less screwed if the trailer gets a flat.

You guys should probably just go with ready-to-eat canned food. Why bring dry noodles and pasta sauce when you can just get spaghetti-o's? Not that having sauce and pasta you make wouldn't taste better, but the difference between plain spagehetti and ragu versus spaghetti-o's is like the difference between 87 and 89 octane. Sure, 89 IS better than 87, but neither are premium fuel, and nothing runs better on 89 than it does on 87.

Edit: 'dry noodles' refers to spaghetti, not ramen. Ramen soup is the right idea. Especially if it's in those cups with the veggies mixed in.

There is a bolt inside the horn needs to be loosened about 1/16 turn to make horn loud

    chris royeras

Now your going to need a shirt saying โ€œweโ€™re getting sprayedโ€ with coopers face ๐Ÿ˜‚

    Hennessey Viper Venom

What happened to getting a roof for Leroy?

You guys should mount one of those turtle top carriers on top of Leroy! Lol
