People say that the Chevrolet Corvette could never compete against the best European sports cars, but the Callaway Sledgehammer not only destroyed damn near everything that was not Koeniggsegg, Bugatti, Devel, Hennessey, on a drag strip, or with a jet engine, but its 255 MPH top speed is STILL among the top ten speeds of production vehicles of all time. Moreover, not even the most powerful C8 Chevrolet Corvette that is direct from the factory, let alone a race track, is as powerful as the Callaway Sledgehammer from all the way back in 1989…let that all sink in a bit.
